What it does

OsseoLabs makes patient-specific implants and surgical guides for the face, skull and skeleton. OsseoVision, our design software, reads the patient's CT scan, proposes the fixation and drafts the implant and cutting guide for the surgeon's approval. Each part is printed layer by layer from metal powder under a laser, in a porous structure that bone grows into. Titanium when it should last a lifetime. Magnesium, now in pre-clinical development, when it should dissolve as the bone heals, so a child never needs a second operation to remove it.

What I do there

Co-founded in 2022 with Associate Professor Patcharapit Promoppatum as a spin-off of the Mechanical Engineering Department at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. I run the company from Indianapolis, with the team in Bangkok.
